how does it work?
a specially formulated cream is applied to your tattoo in exactly the same way as the original ink was applied. the cream attracts and bonds with the ink molecules, and your skin's natural healing process expels the cream and the ink together to form a crust or scab.
will it work for me?
yes. if you tolerated having the original tattoo applied with no adverse reactions, then you should have no problems with this removal system.
what's in the cream?
the ingredients, many of which are found in food and cosmetic products, are: water, zinc oxide, magnesium oxide, n-propanol, triethanolamine, benzoic acid and calcium oxide.
does it work on all ink colours?
yes. it removes all ink together, regardless of colour. laser tattoo removal requires different treatments for different colours, and has a very poor success rate with colours such as green and yellow.
does it hurt?
it's exactly the same as having the original tattoo applied, whereas laser treatments can be extremely painful. be very wary of people who tell you laser tattoo removal feels like having a rubber band flicked against your skin.
is it safe?

what should i expect to happen after the treatment?
a scab will form on the surface containing the ink, and when the scab has fallen away it is likely that secondary crusting will occur, containing further ink. any ink remaining in the skin will move closer to the surface, making it easier to remove with subsequent treatments.
how many treatments will i need?
this system usually takes 3 to 4 treatments to remove a tattoo, whereas laser tattoo removal typically takes 10-12 treatments. home made tattoos can often be removed in just 1 treatment. the healing period between each treatment is normally 6 to 8 weeks.
how long does each treatment take?
treatment times vary according to the size of the tattoo, but will be similar to the time it took to apply the original tattoo.
